Kota Bukit Supai or better known as Fort Supai located in Kuala Linggi. Kota Bukit Supai also has a bearing on the effects of Dutch colonialism on Melaka around the 1750s. Kota Bukit Supai is a fort built on a hilly area near the mouth of the Linggi River. Kota Bukit Supai is a result of a peace agreement between the Bugis and the Dutch. The city is also a Dutch colonial marker to monitor the movement of ships from Kuala Linggi to the south of the Straits of Malacca. In the defense center, it also collects taxes on all kinds of goods, especially tin ore carried out through the Linggi River.
